Know the hardware you plan to use. Have the damper or coilover make/model and any known spring, sway-bar, ride-height, bump-stop, or mounting information available.
Do basic pricing and availability research. Your builder remains responsible for final assembly, installation, and any supporting hardware outside the FCM scope.
